Promotional Leaflets May Create A Successful Business

by Nicola Hart on Mar.17, 2010, under Advertising

Forever innovating your Plumbing business is tough. Gabriel knows this just as well as anyone. He is constantly seeking out other products that he maybe able to introduce into the market.

“Amongst other techniques of marketing, colour leaflet printing nearly always has the greatest result. We generally utilise leaflets to market any new products. Each product could do with a lot of explaining. For that reason we came to the decision that leaflet printing would be more appropriate than a television advertisement, since there is plenty of space to fit every single one of the technical information concerning the product on leaflets.”

He explained his circumstances over the telephone to his online flyer printing company, he also gave them a rough figure for his budget for the full colour leaflets. He had a rather large marketing budget on this occasion, this would allow them to carpet bomb a vast area of Belfast. Based on the information they required on the printing, they decided to go for colour leaflets. The most common flyer material dimension is A5 leaflet paper, and it is the standard size for leaflet distribution.

“We have a major competitor who is offering a similar kind of service on his leafletsprinting. It was important to me that our flyers printing be on more preferable printing material. I truly believe that when your handed flyers printing from a business, based on the printing paper you can figure out what they spend on their marketing, or what quality of service they provide, all by observing the thickness of their promotional leaflets.”

After observing a great deal of flyer printing samples they asked for 170gsm matt. This was a smart option because 170gsm is a good quality leaflet to select, in the view of the fact that nearly every one of the flyers printing are printed on 130gsm gloss. Subsequent to two proofs, they approved it and asked the flyer printing services to go to print with the flyer designs they had created. The full colour flyers were delivered directly to the shop, within few months each and every one of the 80,000 flyers were handed out door-to-door.

Some of the cheapest flyer printing is great and maybe able to salvage you a lot of cash, however in order to gauge the result you are receiving from your promotional leaflets, it is vital to place either an indication, or a token so that you maybe able to record if a consumer has received your flyer. He finally requested that a offer and flyer batch no. be put on, this was really noticeably put on his full colour flyers. To acquire any special offer you had to hand over one of the flyer printing to a worker. This was a terrific manner of getting the prospect to hold on to the flyer until they required the service.

“Handing out the flyers required 2 months. The come back was immediate. The phone rang a great deal more, and at the slowest time of the year too. The flyer made a couple of customers change from our major competitor! We promoted a price beat guarantee on the colour leaflets. It’s now 3 calendar months ago since the last leaflet was given out, amazingly we still find clients bringing the odd one in.”

The door to door operation using the flyer printing was a success, and they are now scheduling their next leaflets operation in the whole region. However, this time they are looking to amplify the quantity of flyers they post out.

” Later this month we are setting up another leafleting operation using leaflets. The plan is to go on with doing promotional leaflets and mailing them out in the same city so that we produce some brand awareness. The flyer designs will be changed on the next batch. We are preparing to publicise additional products. With any luck, in the long run we may put together a door to door operation using leaflets once a week.

The whole idea of creating articles about popular, well-known topics is to be able to publish and send said articles to article directories for distribution throughout the internet. Once article are published on article directories, other people who want to post these articles can find them.

Most website owners cannot find the time to write articles for their website’s content, which is why the look to article directories as places where they can buy articles to put on their site in order to to increase their website’s content and size by adding relevant information. Of course, any article that is put up on their site has to include the article’s source.

Article marketing for a client will provide the client’s website with plenty of benefits; an article that is spread around many websites will have the writer’s information in the article’s resource box as well as the link to the website, allowing all readers to know who is responsible for writing the article.

Is Twitter Any Good For Affiliate Marketing?

by Anthony Mc Carthy on Mar.16, 2010, under Internet Marketing

Is there money to made from twitter?. There has been so much hype about twitter I decided it was time to a test. So just a few facts first, at the time of the test my list was 6500 not to big and not to small. But all targeted followers within my internet marketing niche. Anyway lets get down to it.

The test I decided was a simple one. Tweet an affiliate link out. Don’t put the link anywhere else, just on twitter. I tweeted it just six times, this would help cover all time zones. what I wrote was @ Matt Bacak and Shawn Casey together, what more could you want? to make money on line. Go here http://www.ipcgold.com/ad/2079/CD74819.

The result was I got 36 clicks and no sales, which is a click rate of 0.005%. I did it on a Saturday night so a lot of people would be online and tweeting. So what does this prove?

Well I believe that twitter at best is shotgun marketing. To explain shotgun marketing, it is shooting a wide blast and hoping the something runs into the bullet. I personally prefer sniper marketing, that is you see and know your target. Therefore with twitter, the reaction rate is low. Now you might say that this is only one test. You would be right, except for I have targeted my followers, most have used the term internet marketing, in their tweets at some point. So you would expect that I would get a large reaction, which did not happen. Lets look at some of the possibilities.

1. This is social media its not meant to be precise.

2. The tweet was poor, but its about two IM greats so you would imagine that this would be a big hit with my IM following.

So maybe the real reason is that people have just too many tweets coming across their screens, I now get around 1200 a minute. So is twitter bad at getting traffic. No its great you just have to tweet more. The reason it bombed is I only did it six times in a night, it should have been 6 times an hour.

Twitters best use is helping people to get to know you. Thats what is was really made for, but remember people buy from who they know faster they from someone they dont.

Some Thoughts On LGN Prosperity – Little Guy Network

by Carl Hartley on Mar.16, 2010, under Internet Marketing

The latest buzz on the internet is all about LGN Prosperity – Little Guy Network. Called LGN for short, it is said to be a way for “the rest of us” to get ahead in internet marketing by banding together in a network of “little guys.” A bunch of small operators working together becomes one big force on the internet. That’s the theory, anyway. If you all stick together and work together, you can compete with the Big Boys in internet marketing and share the success.

Those who are new to internet marketing can easily be persuaded by the arguments put forward by this and other programs like it. It is very difficult today for anyone to make money online if they don’t have a fabulous product and a big advertising budget. Today, almost every form of advertising has the word “pay” in front of it. You have to pay for clicks, you have to pay to have your website displayed on someone else’s website, etc.

When you don’t have an advertising budget to begin with, it’s hard to pay for the advertising you need to do to generate more advertising revenue. You can’t seem to win unless you join forces with others in similar circumstances. Together, you might be able to generate traffic and income.

It all makes sense until you look more closely. Then the whole thing looks like just one more MLM or Pyramid scheme. You pay your sponsor for the opportunity to join the program. They in turn tell you that you will make money yourself by getting new recruits. It turns out that the products you are given to sell don’t count for much in terms of income potential.

That’s all fine if the program goes on indefinitely and everybody makes some money from each other. The problem is that it can’t sustain itself that way forever. Eventually you end up fighting for recruits with many others who are supposed to be your support team. The whole system crumbles under the weight and almost everybody comes away empty handed.

That’s the critics point of view, anyway. What do those who are part of the system have to say in response? Some say they are very satisfied with it and claim to have made money from it. Others are insulted that it is called a pyramid scheme, since they do have viable products to sell.

One thing that does not get mentioned very much is that many successful internet marketers got their start by enrolling in enterprises like these. They learned valuable lessons in internet marketing from their experiences and occasionally even got a valuable list of fellow entrepreneurs to exchange notes with.

If nothing else, things like this are a way to get your first real exposure to online commerce. If they are not asking for more money than you can afford to outlay and you give it your best effort, you just might learn a lot from the experience. Then, when you go it alone, you will have already learned many valuable lessons that may help you in your future success.

If you’re thinking of starting with LGN Prosperity, the time is now. While everything that’s being said about it isn’t good, it’s still getting a lot of attention. Exposure online is what you need. Grab it while it’s hot!

LGN Prosperity has weekly seminars. lgn elite Tired of working MLMs, LGN Prosperity pays big and fast. Instead it is an addition to a company that has longevity and already proven to be a leader at creating wealth in others.

Business – Low Budget Advertising

by Jan Maurer on Mar.16, 2010, under Advertising

After the advent of online selling sites, shopping has been prefabricated so cushy that it can be done within the comfort of the home. Online selling gave rise to online advertising also known as iAdvertising, which is proving to be the best way to reach a larger audience within a short time using less money.

There are many options available on the Internet to get started. Creating a website and then placing its link on different websites is one of the ways. Pages can be submitted to the search engines after applying search engine optimization techniques. Websites offer various payment methods. Some take money for simply placing an ad or link on their website, some take money only if a visitors clicks on the link or website and some take money only if the visitors visits a link and have bought something or availed some service. There are options available for the type of ad being placed. There are pop-up ads, banner ads, wallpaper ads, polite ads, video ads, etc. Businesses with really low budget can send mails to targeted customers.

Radio stations offer a good price to advertise during the non-peak time. Get in touch with the local station and try to ask for a discount. The same applies to television; even they have a minimal amount for advertising slots during the non-prime hours, especially after midnight. Contact different television station to compare pricing.

The age-old tradition of advertising in yellow pages directories is always a success. All businesses from small to big register themselves in the yellow pages and have sworn to be benefited from it. People can look up for contact numbers, addresses and services offered directly from the pages.

Newspaper is the next best thing. First analyze the audience to be targeted by age group, sex, and location. Choose the local newspaper and section where the ad should be placed depending on the audiences to be targeted. The classifieds department of the local newspapers have special offers, find out in detail about the pricing structure for the size of the advertisements, number of words, font size, etc.

Design the business cards with accuracy. Try to include all the vital information about the business like the study of the company, where it is located, services provided, working hours, and contact information like landline number, cell number and mortal to be contacted. Personalized business cards are good way of reaching the genuine customers.

Other way to advertise is to give presentations on your products. Brochures can be inserted in the business presentation package. Other than things like history of the company and annual turn-up, once again business cards can be included in the package. Distribute newsletters with information about the latest offers and discounts. Informational letters of a page length and e-mails can be sent too on a regular basis. All this can become lot easier by getting in touch with companies who can provide the mailing list of a particular locality and it comes for a very small price. Again the yellow pages can be referred to get information about such companies. After getting the information get in touch with company to get a copy of the latest mailing list. Different companies charge different prices

The word of mouth is also a good method of advertising. Try growing the links in your network and join organizations which deals with advertising like trade associations and chamber of commerce. Active participation in events of these organizations eventually helps reaching more number of people.

Business Infos – How to write Business-to-Business Advertisement

by Melinda Mahrer on Mar.16, 2010, under Advertising

Business-to-business firms are those firms that sell products and services among themselves. The selling is done to a client of other company, who might use the product for intermediate purposes or so. The advertisements relating to B2B companies should not only generate interest but it should also be simply out standing despite the tough competition. In the market, there are several firms who produce the same stuff and they reach out for clients with whom they want to do business.

In written content, use the name of the company in the first sentence; preferably first word. It is not pleasing to start with ‘we’. Following it, give a brief introduction about the company. In todays busy world people don’t have time to waste so deliver the message right away. Using catchy adjectives will do the trick. The sentence should be framed so that the client knows about the company, what it does and how it is unique from others. Pose questions before creating the writing material, like what is that the customer will expect and do they demand high quality. Don’t hesitate to use ‘you ‘ very often.

Play with customer’s psychology. Understand the difficulties faced by them and then show them how the company or the company’s product can solve it. Call of action can be given then and offer to clear their doubts. It should be more than just a helpline.

After the initial writing, write in detail about the product or service provided. This is in-dept information for those concerned about your company’s product. Point out the advantages of using them. Write them in a hierarchical form with numbering or bullets. If writing short paragraphs, strong sub-titles can be used as heading of individual paragraphs. Again, using adjectives will be good.

A good amount of entertainment bourgeois should be added. This will retain the interest of the customer and will not distract him. But if lots of it is used, it will simply become shabby. It’s a nice intent to use product noun as a verb along with other adjectives.

Submit website and advertisements to search engines. Millions of people use it everyday to find what they need. If the website is search engine optimized, it will surely get lots of traffic. The study of the company and keywords should densely populate the website content. Make it a compulsion for the visitor to go through the advertisement before moving on to the registration or payment process. Some B2B websites don’t allow adding an email address or URL in the advertisement. They can be tracked in by actually spelling out dot or at in the email address or website link.

Once the customer is lured, they should be maintained. Product should be delivered on time. Quality should be maintained. Once it is done, not only will they start trusting the company but also at the same time they will spread the word about the company. They will advertise for free. Their experience with the company will motivate others to join the bandwagon.

Advertising Tips – Women in Advertisements

by Jan Maurer on Mar.16, 2010, under Advertising

Featuring a female model in advertisements initially started with advertisements on products like alcohol and adult entertainment. The trend then spread like a wildfire in the market and is still being widely used although being exaggerated. It has become a compulsion now to have a beautiful model in all kinds of advertisement, which sometimes seems unnecessary. They seem to sell anything from shaving gel to cars.

Many women right activists say that the women are being projected as merely an goal by such advertisements. But the harsh truth is that advertisements featuring women is influencing viewers of all ages and advertisers have realized this. The advertisement starts with an captivating woman posing in seductive ways followed by the product or the service offered by the company. The beauty of the model already lures the customer, so advertisers do not have to place in more effort to motivate them.

But there are certain drawbacks in using women models in some advertisements and if a consumer is smart enough, it won’t take time for him to realize that. It is totally irrelevant to feature a female model or an actress in advertisement promoting men products. Some good examples of this point are showing a woman in axe deodorant commercial and comparison of a partially nude woman’s body to the body of a car. Second drawback is due to more concentration on the model, the attention deserved by the product is not sufficient. The main focus of the advertisement is lost.

Surprisingly only few male models advertises for male oriented products. Even a picture of a woman on an Internet commercial seems not logical to some extent, as there are thirty percent of female internet users and seventy percent of male internet users, worldwide. To add to it, advertisers cannot explain why beautiful bodies bring success to advertisement.

Advertisements are convincing and motivating tool, which can leave a deep impact on the minds of the viewers and plays a major role in molding the culture and attitude of the people. Expansive and extensive portraying of women in this manner merely reduces their image to an object of passion. Emphasis is laid only on the physical beauty of the woman like features, body curves. After the commercial has been shot, using graphical technology, any kind of imperfection of the body is altered which in a way sends out the signal.

The companies have a moral responsibility also in the society. These commercials have a negative impact on the society and leads to problems visaged for the common woman. The major ill effect is the pressure on woman to get those near-perfect bodies. They get so pressurized that they take the unhealthy way to reach the set goals. They develop intake disorders; their health gets affected which may sometimes result in irreparable damages. And those who never make it to that point, grappling humiliation and get taunted by everyone around them. This results in depression and other long-term psychological diseases.

According to researches and surveys conducted, most of the women vow that commercials lower their self-confidence and they visualize themselves as unattractive due to the image being portrayed of the perfect woman in ads. In America, seventy-five percent of healthy females think that they are over-weight. Half of the women populations are on some kind of diet program and nearly ten million women suffer from serious intake disorders. The weight of a fashion model is twenty three percent less than an average weighed ordinary woman.

Advertisements haven’t spared women being beaten up. In a particular after shave lotion commercial, the background voice says that its essential to learn martial arts because once a man applies the company’s product, women around will be attracted and will pounce on him. Towards the end of the commercial, they show a male model kicking several women model that seem to have attracted to him. This is degradation of respect of women to the lowest level.

After all this exposure, women viewers refer themselves as the weaker sex. Some think that males decide their self-worth. Over exposure of women as sex objects have triggered cases of physical assault and rapes. Majority of the women are taking the wrong way to get those stick figures, which are results in diseases, sometimes leading to death. And most of this is attributed to the advertisements that pour into the lives of innocent people everyday. Marketing ethics should be built to raise the position of woman in the society and give them the due respect but not degrade them.

Why Choose to Outsource Your Web Design and Development

by James Cannon on Mar.15, 2010, under Internet Marketing

When your website is ready, you need to know what to do next. Web design and development outsourcing should be your next step. These companies will take your ideas and turn them into your ideal website. Outsourcing for your website designs can be done in many ways. One possibility is to search online for a site that specializes in outsourcing web design; another possibility is to go directly to a web design site that you find yourself online.

It is very simple to do, just find the site you like and give them the information about the job you have, including, in as much detail as possible, what you want to have done. Someone in the web design and development outsourcing company will be available to answer your questions and give other help and advice. It doesn’t matter if you only want a simple HTML web page or a more complex CSS page. For whichever language you require there will be someone there who can help you with your new website. Outsourcing companies are usually dedicated to pleasing their customers in order to maintain their business, so they will make every effort to be sure you get exactly the website you have been dreaming about.

You may have strict budget considerations, if you are new to your business venture, and most outsourcing companies, when quoting you a price, understand that and will be flexible according to the amount of work they have to do on your project. When you add more content to your webpage, the cost will generally be higher. It is not uncommon for web design and development outsourcing companies to have up to a dozen programmers ready when new projects come in. There are also small companies online who may give you a less costly quote, but they may not have the programmers needed to take many projects and unable do your website the way you want.

You want to be sure you know exactly what it is that you want as far as content for your page so that the web design and development outsourcing company can get started right away. Be sure you know the programming language you want, as well as any other features you may want, such as any flash animation, photo galleries, or any other type of widgets. Also be sure to let them know what theme and color scheme you require. The more information you can give them the sooner they can start and finish your project and make it the way you envisioned it.

Your two main considerations, once the material and ideas for your website are well prepared, is to get a web design and development outsourcing company with the resources to devote to your project and at a price that will not empty you wallet. When your new business becomes a great success, you will have a high quality website, made by professionals, that gives the proper support.
