Custom Lanyard – Marketing and Promotion

A Custom Lanyard is worn around the neck with an attachment for identification and security purposes. It’s a great promotional item for its functionality for schools, tradeshows, hospitals, businesses, special events and seminars as well as for fraternal, religious and civic organizations. A Custom Lanyard is available in nylon which allows high detail silk screening imprinting; polyester, the most popular material for its durability, tube which is constructed from polyester in a tube form. This is generally narrow in width for those who prefer less material around the neck. A woven polyester lanyard allows for stitching logos and other detail directly into the material.

A Custom Lanyard attachment enhances its functionality. There are various attachments available such as a special loop for a cell phone, a keyring, J-hook, oval and thumb hooks, a bulldog clip and lobster claw. The mechanism for these include a swivel movement. However, one attachment can be purchased without the swivel mechanism.

When accessories are added to a Custom Lanyard, it provides increased security. For instance, a special badge reel allows for swiping an ID or other entry card. This is pretty handy in grocery stores where credit and debit cards are used at the checkout register. For party favors, imprint it with a specified date or label for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.

There’s a Custom Lanyard designed for every preference. They can be removed by use of a plastic breakaway at the back of the neck which saves removing the lanyard from over the head. Buckle releases remove the attachment without removing the lanyard while another accessory, an adjustable bead adjusts the size of the open loop. Another accessory, velcro breakaway at the back of the neck, also makes for easier removal while a small metal crimp insures added security. A wide range of colors of lanyards are available such as red, green, yellow, white, black, blue and brown. These colors blend with most any business, school or other logo.

Designs for silk screens are available for review by the customer prior to final order. Depending on material, design and labor, most orders can be filled in less than two weeks. For retaining clients and increasing sales, lanyards are a great investment and they are reasonably priced. This is a “Stand Out” item among promotional gifts.
