Can I Use Free Article Content To Make Money?
by Harry Constantine on Mar.19, 2010, under Internet Marketing
Some webmasters are using articles from free content directories to get visitors to their site and make some money. This is mostly important for those who have just begun affiliate marketing for several websites and do not yet have any funding, yet need to built small niche sites to drive visitors to their site so that they can begin making some revenue .
Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it is not a way that will effectively build your web site or revenue. There are a few potential reasons why this may be detrimental to your business building efforts.
Problem #1 – Search Engines
Search engines will only look down upon your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other websites. The more web sites that share the exact content with you, the less chance it will help you achieve good search engine rankings.
Good search engine rankings are essential in getting visitors to your web site so that they have a chance to click on your affiliate links. If you cannot even get traffic, then will never make an income. Working on the search engine optimization of your site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.
Problem #2 – Getting visitors to click
Although getting your website high on search engine result pages and acquiring web site traffic is hard work, unfortunately this is only half of the battle. You must also be able to convince those visitors to click on your affiliate links. If your visitors see the same content they have seen on a multitude of other web site, they will be least likely to buy your products. This is because most people want to buy things that are recommended by people that they trust or whom they feel like are an expert on the subject.
If your content is just duplicated from other sites, you will be exposed as someone who does not really know what they are talking about and therefore will not look heavily on your product recommendations. This will reduce the number of site visitors who will be willing to click through.
Problem #3 – Author Bylines
Most free reprint content is only given to you if you agree to place the authors byline under the article (you can get into trouble if you try to use it without following the stipulated rules). This poses a problem because most author bylines include links. When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will will click on the author byline link rather than your own links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing possible profitable site visitors.
Once you put these 3 problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in revenue just because you used free website content from article sites. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy your own exclusive content, then you should go this route. If you don have the finds, however, you may be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

Blog Myths Debunked
by Harry Constantine on Nov.21, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization
A huge trail of controversies and myths still continue to exist within the blogosphere. This article was written to dispel some of the blog myths outlined below.
Any ordinary Joe can start a blog. Not quite sure about that! Do you enjoy writing? Do you have specialized knowledge you want to share? Are you passionate about a certain topic? If you answered No to any or all of these questions, think again.
Anyone can set up a blog. This comes down to the blog host you are using. Some hosts get far more technical than the average user may be ready for. Some just require you to fill a one-step form and your blog will be set up in seconds!
Blogging doesn’t take up that much time. That depends! Some posts, when you have a clear idea of what you want to say, may take just a few minutes while you may struggle for days (literally) with others that involve complex issues or thoughts. In general, blogging is a daily activity for the serious blogger (some bloggers write up to ten posts a day) and a once-a-week activity for the casual blogger.
Most blogs are political. Many blogs focus on political topics but most blogs are just bloggers discussing their lives, loves and travels.
Blogs are in competition with the main-stream media. This is true in a few cases (not as many cases as bloggers would have you think). Just recently, there have been some very popular and influential social and politically-oriented blogs that have caused main-stream media outlets to back-track and change their coverage of important events.
Bloggers are just having fun criticizing everyone and everything and have no new information to add. True in some cases. Today, blogging is much more than the personal activity it used to be. Corporations, media outlets, public personalities, politicians and experts in almost every field have now joined the ranks of blog producers. Considering all this expertise, one would have to say that bloggers have a lot of new information to add to any debate.
Blogs don’t always tell the truth. That’s a bit of an overstatement. You may read bad information and even intentional untruths in blogs but, for the most part, bloggers who state facts are stating what they honestly believe to be fact. It is always up to the reader to verify that any information they receive is accurate information.

Make Money Writing Online – How to Earn Money Using Blogs
by Harry Constantine on Oct.22, 2009, under Internet Marketing
If you’re serious about using blogging as a method of making money online, here are guidelines which point out the different options you have.
Step 1 – Finding an Informative Niche of Interest
Think of a topic or niche you are interested in. Itll be very easy for you to write regularly and authoritatively and be a go-to industry expert.
Step 2 – Create Your Blog
Probably the most popular of the blogging platforms is Blogger.com – but there are others like WordPress.com and MSN Spaces. Wordpress.org offer the platform for free but you then need to find and pay for your own hosting and domain name. MovableType charge for a license for the platform and then you need to arrange and pay for your own domain name and hosting.
You need to include the keywords in Step 1 in the content of your blog but try not to overuse them as it sends out bad impressions to the search engines
Step 3 – Let Google Work for You
Signing up for Google Adsense will probably not make you a millionaire but it is an instant way of generating a small amount of money just by inserting the adsense code in the margin of your blog. When an ad is clicked on, Google will pay the publisher about half of what the Adwords advertiser is paying to run the ad. Google gets the other half.
Enabled Google Analytics on your blog by inserting a tracking code in the template of your blog. This way, Google’s indexing bots can see every page of your site and tell you all kinds of information about the traffic you’re receiving on those pages.
You will also want to add your URL to Google’s index.
Step 4 – Find Something to Sell
You might try finding an affiliate program (ClickBank and Commission Junction) to join to maximize your income and truly learn how to make money with blogs.
Whatever program you join will give you help inserting the code you will need to insert into your blog, but be sure you do this correctly or you WILL NOT earn money from your visitors. If you do not know how to edit HTML, W3Schools HTML tutorial is a great place to start.
Step 5 – Social Bookmarking
There is no better advertising than word of mouth, but the next best thing is social bookmarking. You will want to make things easier for people to do this. Social bookmarking sites I use and recommend are OnlyWire and SocialMarker and they are used for people to share their bookmarks or websites that they have liked with other people in their online community.
I would not suggest you add your own links to these services, but provide visitors to your website the ability to do so.
Step 6 – Write an Article
I would suggest you to write an article or a review if our blog is about a specific product. Most article directories require articles of 500 words and over so I would use this as a rule when writing to ensure your article is published.
Submit your article to any of the 100’s which are out there. I personally use a few of the Top Article directories such as EzineArticles, Article Dashboard, Amazines.com, isnare and SearchWarp. I also use a nifty piece of software called Article Submitter which will submit your articles to over 600 article directories, which saves you lots of time and leaves you to focus on writing your blogs.
Whatever your blog is used for, it can help you out in a positive way. Blogging has definitely become professional in its use. So go out and start your blog!

Pay to Join Vs Free to Join Paid Survey Site – Which is Better?
by Harry Constantine on Oct.01, 2009, under Internet Marketing
If you are interested in taking online surveys and getting paid, you must have done some research and it must have shown you various types of survey sites.
There are some free get-paid survey sites allow you to become free member and take surveys immediately to start earning. There are also some paid survey sites which claim to pay you a lot more and guarantee you get greater number of paid surveys.
The truth is, if you are short of funds and would like to get some expertise in surveys, free get paid survey websites are a great option. It may happen though that the paid membership survey websites could provide you with surveys more regularly than the free membership paid survey web sites.
There is no dearth of free get paid survey websites online, that’s why many of these web sites are so successful and every day there are 1000s of people trying their luck at taking surveys. Since these are free to join sites, even if there is not much survey traffic you won’t feel so bad. However, this is not the thing with paid membership paid survey sites, if the surveys do not keep coming in you may end up losing money rather than earn any. This is how some people lost their money this way.
Free get paid survey websites are safer since they do not ask you for any money at all, instead their money comes in only from the companies which would like to be surveyed among public. Free get paid surveys however, may not offer you larger sums of money. It is the paid websites that often lure people with offers of $100 per survey, rather than the free websites.

Practical Article Marketing Tips – Myths To Avoid
by Harry Constantine on Jul.26, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization
To make your article marketing campaign successful, you need to be in the know of the different myths and misconceptions surrounding it. Listed below are common article marketing myths that can lead marketers astray if not acted upon:
MYTH #1: Article marketing is a waste of time and won’t do any help.
Because of the links in your author bio section or footer of the article, every article directory you submit to is linking back to you. This creates a lot of one-way inbound links which can help you increase your link popularity and be a source of some of the most targeted traffic you can get. By publishing quality content you can help establish yourself as an expert in your field.
MYTH #2: Reprinted articles only get indexed as supplemental pages and won’t do your business any good.
As long as you write and submit quality articles and get accepted by a large ezine with half a million subscribers, there are bigger chances your articles can get a top 10 listing in major search engines, not just as supplemental pages.
MYTH #3: Submitting the same article to different article sites creates duplicate content and search engines will penalize you.
According to Google, “Duplicate content generally refers to substantive blocks of content within or across domains that either completely match other content or are appreciably similar.” It is rather those malicious duplicate content that WILL suffer a duplicate content penalty. If that is true, all article directories would have been banned long ago.
Proper use of article marketing and search engine optimization together can boost lots of free targeted traffic to your site and generate sales. Steer clear from these myths and you’ll surely get maximum results from your article marketing campaign.

by Harry Constantine on Jul.22, 2009, under Internet Marketing
Interested in making some cash online in your comfort home? My answer is to join some of the free membership paid survey sites.. You can make handsome amount of money for giving honest opinions on consumer issues. When you join the free membership paid surveys, you have nothing to lose as you are not paying any fees for the membership.
Through these paid survey jobs you can get paid about $5-$7 an hour for participating in online surveys from home. You can be paid up to $25 to take part in focus groups and for trying new products. You can also get paid for shopping, eating in a appointed restaurant or watching movie, which will be $10-$50 on your part, and for answering a short questionnaire on your consumer experience.
Because you a consumer and no matter where you lives, you opinion will be counted and you will be qualified for taking surveys. You should register more paid surveys free membership companies so that you can make more cash. You can enjoy a satisfying life in the comfort of your home and get paid by registering in paid survey free membership companies.
But you also need to be careful, as there are multiple options available online and you should choose the right websites.. Once you have registered, you will have to fill the questionnaire which includes questions about likes, dislikes, brands of food, interests and items frequently used and also some other demographic info. A preliminary poll will be offered to the registrant by the paid survey websites. only after this pre-qualified questionnaire is filled honestly.
If you do not qualify in some questionnaires, you will not get many paid surveys to answer. You have to always remember that the preliminary sheets will take at least 5-20 minutes to complete and they do not pay anything and also do not give any guarantee for paid questionnaire. Anyway, joining the paid surveys free membership sites.is always a great option.
Can You Make Money With Join-Free Paid Surveys Sites?
by Harry Constantine on Jul.04, 2009, under Internet Marketing
Are you looking for part time home based jobs with out any investment on the Internet? If so, you should checkout those join-free paid surveys sites.
They are great opportunities to make extra money and the work can be done in your part time. You can participate in hundreds of paid surveys without any investment. Participating in paid surveys join-free sites is a great option if you are interested in making money during your free time.
Most of the sites pay your earning every month on or around 15th for the earning of the previous month. Many paid surveys join-free sites will pay you only if the earning reaches $25 or more than that. If the your amount balance is less than $25 then the money will be added to the account and will be paid only on the following month.
By referring other people you can earn referral commissions. Let’s do a math, if you make a referral at least one per day, which means 30 referrals in a month, that can be a total of $375 if the lifetime value of a referral is $12.5. The details of the referral program will be provided in the member area. Those join-free sites paid survey sites normally provide referral marketing tools, ideas, tips etc for helping you to increase your commissions on referring other members to the web sites.
So get cash for your opinion as well for referring others to the site to increase your earnings. In a paid survey join-free site, you do not have to give any fee for participating in them. Sometimes you can get paid by Paypal, check, Amazon gift cards and other prizes as well.
The major advantage of paid surveys is you can do it in the comfort home, and you only need to have a computer and internet connection. Many of the paid survey join-free companies pay the money by check and once you become a member you can participate in various surveys that provide you rewards.
Blog Myths Exposed
by Harry Constantine on Jul.02, 2009, under Search Engine Optimization
Despite the huge popularity of blogs around the Internet, people still have so many misconceptions of the whole phenomenon. Here are just some of them and real-world experiences to debunk these myths.
Blogging is just a breeze, I’m done before you know it. When you have a clear idea of what you want to say, writing posts may take just a few minutes. Those that involve complex issues or thoughts on the other hand might be a little harder to crack.
Most blogs are political. Many blogs focus on political topics but most blogs are just bloggers discussing their lives, loves and travels.
